Kuroda Haruno Name: Kuroda Haruno Alias: Amekage's Adviser, Cannibal of Amegakure Age:21 Gender: Male Title: Jonin
Ethnicity: Ame no Kuni Height: 5'11” Weight: 182 lbs Hair: Auburn kept in a ponytail in back and bangs hanging around his face in front. Eye Color: Azure Appearance: Kuroda was treated well by time, though he finds it annoying. Although he is twenty-one, Kuroda appears much younger, many would say seventeen. The contours of his head, frame his face within an angular canvas. His nose is average size and appears to form an obtuse angle where it meets his forehead. His hair is minimally controlled, only having a small ponytail in back and his bangs lying where they fall. He also has blue war paint; it forms a curved angle starting at the angle of his jaw, going forward to a point just a centimeter beneath his eye, parallel to his pupils when he's looking straight forward, then curving back to a point that is a third of the way down the body of his jaw. Kuroda's typical garb is composed of black sandals that cover all of his foot save for his toes and stop three centimeters above his ankle, with an angular flap on either side of his leg. His pants are tucked into the top of his sandals, having few remarkable features save for their black color and the subtle tears that have been shoddily mended. Above that is a tool belt that hangs from his left to his right side, where three pouches of varying size and shape rest. His upper body is adorned with a black tee-shirt and covered with a decorated and tattered hoodie. The hoodie's base color is white, hemmed in red, with a blue design on either side. The design is comprised of two dots and a curved shape and rests about hip level. More recently he has taken to wearing his village band across the scare where his left used to be. Not exactly befitting of a Kage's adviser, but Kuroda doesn't mind modesty.
Fame: Infamy: Alignment: Lawful Neutral Personality: General - Kuroda tends to be patient and even keeled. He also is prone to inner-vision and getting lost in thought. He naturally analyzes problems, identifies patterns, and provides explanations. He has no strong inclination toward leading or following. Tends to be a show off and has trouble with self-aggrandizement. Further more, he can be excessively rigid.
Morality - “The Law above all.” He holds that it is best for everyone if they all behave within certain guidelines. While restrictive, it prevents others from influencing them in unwarranted ways. If it cannot be closely followed and applied in almost all circumstances, it shouldn't be a law. This strict, legalistic adherence to a code of conduct often brings Kuroda into conflicts with the more chaotic sort, such as his boss. However, he is willing to make rare exceptions, typically in cases where the options are rules or death. As such, he is very loyal and will serve those around him, even if they don't see eye to eye with him. He also believes in equality before the law, choosing to treat everyone equally and fairly as possible, but is not opposed to strong punishments if the abuse is significant enough. He values honesty, whether good or bad is irrelevant, so long as they are predictable and open. He typically sees murder as a bad thing, mostly because it undermines predictability and order. He respects all authority, so long as it is legitimately lawful. He disdains all those who controvert the law. While the laws may be illogical and counter-productive, they need to be repealed in a peaceful and lawful manner to be legitimate.
Goals & Motivations – His strict adherence to a code of law is motivated by his desire for peace, prosperity, and happiness. He holds that laws, while sometimes counter-productive, serve to create an environment of predictability. Even if they are evil, the predictability allows one to adapt and function, despite the evil. Chief among his goals is the establishment and spread of law. He seeks to regiment as much as possible, in so doing, one might leave in a peaceful and predictable world. The rare exception is, once again, at such time as the options are obeying the law and death. One such example is war; one must be willing to do anything in their power to end the war as quickly and as beneficially as possible. Thus, law has little to no place in war.
Beliefs – Kuroda follows a nature goddess known as Yufri. His religion holds that Yufri created nature then created Kuroda's people. She then established an agreement with them that her people would not harm nature, but could call upon it to meet their needs. Its rules are clear. Do not harm the forests; defend the forests. Eat primarily meat. When enemies are conquered, their meat must be eaten, not left to rot. Do not kill wastefully. Do not take on the shape of beasts. The cannibalistic "Meat Mandate" of the Pact sets Him apart religiously from other cultures. The requirement to eat fallen enemies before three days pass is perhaps the most shocking part of the Pact to outsiders.
