Name: Shibui Otoko Alias: None Age: 25 Gender: Male Title: Shodaime Tsuchikage. Demands that everyone call him by his full name, instead of his title of Kage, however.
Ethnicity: Tsuchigakure Height: Six feet and two inches Weight: 190 Lbs. Hair: Jet Black Eye Color: Dark Brown Appearance: Shibui Otoko has many qualities that one could assign to the iconic image of a super-hero. A square jaw, broad shoulders, and a balanced combination of lean muscle, and pure strength. Carrying himself with the bearing of a soldier, he keeps a tall, straight stance. His facial features aren't as well defined as the rest of his body, however, giving him a youthful appearance. Some would even call this juvenile, or baby faced, like a boy scout. Though he wears the traditional kage robes when attending business junctures, Shibui Otoko can be found complaining that they're not as comfortable as the tight, black T-shirt and blue shinobi pants he wears. When it comes to combat, Shibui Otoko shuns armor completely in favor of a karate gi. He has several different variations of color, claiming that each different gi has a different purpose. His white, sleeveless gi is for battles among friends and sparring. The red gi, also sleeveless, is for serious competition, tournaments and battlefields alike. The final gi is an ashy black, full sleeved, and is said to be the gi he wears when he bears the intent to kill. It is stained with brown and reeks of blood, claiming that he never wishes to wash it, an act of respect to all the warriors he has slain over the years. To wash away their blood would be to forget those final moments, though some speculate that Shibui Otoko wears it to satiate an inner need of violence. Whatever the true purpose is, Shibui Otoko is a man of simplistic, but elegant design, in all things.
Fame: 2000 Infamy: 0 Alignment: Neutral Good Personality: Shibui Otoko is a man that many consider too large for life. With a never-back-down attitude, and child like love of fighting, he is always boisterous and energetic. The man is eager to fight, his entire life (minus paperwork) revolving around the art of battle. To him, fighting is the purest possible form of expression, and it is on the battlefield that he stamps his mark on the world. His fierce love of his friends and country are revealed in nearly everything he does. He was the leading force in uniting the Earth Country as a single nation, yet he will always recognize that he could not have done so without the support of his comrades. Shibui Otoko even goes so far as to say that the enemies he defeated are his friends as well, claiming that the sacrifice they gave by living a life of evil gave him the purpose to build Tsuchigakure. Truly, he is someone who always sees the good in all things, and all people, believing that every one of us fulfills a vital and necessary function.
That isn't to say that he's all good feelings. Shibui Otoko is a master of an art of combat that is designed purely to kill, even if he has altered some of it to be used for sparring. When he realized the strength he wielded and how easy it was to take a man's life, Shibui Otoko was filled with a terrible grief at the waste of human life before him. He vowed to never kill unless the situation absolutely demanded it, the only thing warranting such a reaction being a threat on his own life, or a threat to his friends or country. He sees those who kill without true purpose as weak of the soul, claiming that it is far easier to kill a man than to forgive him for his transgressions. Despite his beliefs, Shibui Otoko, time and time again, has made the personal sacrifice of the cleanliness of his heart and mind, saying that for every foe he slays, it is one more that his loved ones do not. He bears the guilt and grief of all his armies, always at the forefront of every battle, leading by example, and being a shining beacon for the people of Tsuchigakure and the Earth Country.

Kinjutsu:History: The BoyThe boy was born in the wasteland. His parents, like many others at the time, were poor. They lived among shanties and wanderers, bandits and cut-throats. Cities filled with tents and roving nomads, exiled from the massive warring city-states that dominated the Earth Country. The land was harsh, and unforgiving, often forcing these people to attempt to make a living underground. They farmed what mushrooms they could grow, and had no goods to speak of. It was a meager, often short existence. The boy lived this life for five years, before the man who lived in the mountain came to the nomads in search of students. The art of ninjutsu at that time had been relegated only to the forces of the city-states, these nomads having no military or protection to speak of. The man from the mountain chose the boy, and another from the same nomads, as his apprentices. The GrandmasterThe Grandmaster was one of two brothers who taught the Ansatsuken, or Assassin's fist. The Grandmaster showed the two boys his way, a non-lethal fighting style that was the perfect expression of human nature. They stayed their for many years, before descending from the mountain finally one day. They learned to fight and move in a way that was completely unnatural, this being their introduction to Ninjutsu as a whole. The boys, wearing simple gi, wandered and found their old nomad parents. Unrecognizable, these two had grown into young men, at the age of 14. While they had grown strong, the nomads grew weak. Thin, gaunt men and women wandered the campsites, and the air was heavy with doom. They learned that the soldiers of the cities would raid their tents and kill those they suspected to have an aptitude for Ninjutsu, using a special method of detecting potential. The First BattleIt wasn't long until these soldiers returned for another raid, demanding to examine the children of the nomads. Forced into groups, standing in one line, the soldiers placed their hands on the heads of children. One by one they passed down the line, reaching the boy and his friend. At first contact, the soldier stepped back, exclaiming for his men to prepare themselves. There was no time to react, a lighting-fast fist slamming into his mouth and pushing the soldier's teeth down his throat. The two boys attacked with ferocity, eliminating the soldiers and winning their first battle against the corrupt shinobi forces that existed in their homeland. Bitter WorkThey trained, knowing that more would come for them. The two boys trained and fought against eachother relentlessly. Thunder sounded off in the distance of the cities, the force of the boy's blows echoing across the plains and mountains. The signal of a new era. As their fighting continued, nomads and children stood to watch. Soon, they mimicked. Soon, they were taught. Soon, they mastered. A new army of warriors existed on the plains, created from the spark that one Grandmaster set. This spark put new fire into the hearts of the nomads. They swept across the land, beckoning others to join them, and beating down the bandits who would resist. Soon enough, even the bandits joined them, furious with living the lives of criminals because they had been exiled from the cities. The ManThe battles continued, skirmishes on the plains and in the mountains only gave them more confidence and ability. Every soldier was seen as an opportunity, every fight a gift. This love of battle was the downfall of the second boy, lost to us during the war of the nomads and cities. The first boy was filled with a new anger! While his people and loved ones had suffered for decades already, now his greatest friend and ally had been stolen from him as well. The boy, filled with new purpose, dug his heels into the dirt and trained harder than ever before. The thunder in the distance was no longer the two boys sparring, but the man moving mountains. Carving paths. Making futures. At the Gates of HellThe Man and his allies stood at the forefront of each city, one by one. Every wall in his way was broken down, siege after siege only united the cities of Earth Country under a single, new banner. The banner of the man. The man promised a new life, free from the abuse and restraints of the warmongers who ruled them. Soldiers who killed were now allies who protected. Day by day the presence of evil in this country grew smaller. Day by day it's people grew stronger. The Man of ExcellenceIt had to be this way. One day, there would be no more to conquer. No more to fight. The Man looked out at his country, the one he made for himself and all his loved ones. The last city fell, and he took his place at the height of the warmonger's tallest tower. He shouted a decree, heard all across the country. "I am Shibui Otoko! Your lives have been ruled and controlled by fear! I say, fear is not the answer! I say, fear is wrong! Those who inspire fear, those who torment and terrorize, prepare to meet your end! You will lose! You are any who would harm my friends, my loved ones, and most of all, my country! Today is the day you lose! Today is a victory for the people of the Earth Country, and a new day for Iwagakure, the Village Hidden in the Stone!" Cheering exploded out from the crowd, and the city was rebuilt as the new hidden village. Shibui Otoko lives there with his family and friends, as happy as he could possibly be. [/blockquote]
