Personality: Evil, pure, concentrated evil in the form of one man. There is no remorse for his actions(other than a missed opportunity just to do something undeniably cruel), only a sick gratification for bringing pain and misery to those around him. There is no justice except for what he deems is fair, although most of the time it's usually something involving himself smashing your skull between his hands. There are no exceptions for his cruelty, no hidden feelings for good and righteousness, only a pleasure for blood, and battle.
There is no such thing as cooperation in his mind, except for when he wants something you can give him, in which case he would be begrudgingly keen towards helping your cause. In other cases, he might throw a hand in other's matters if your strength matches his own in battle, however, even then it's a difficult call, because if there isn't enough bloodshed for him to have, why bother?
There are no gods in his eyes, no celestial beings watching down from the heavens that can save anyone... Because he believes they want nothing to do with the troubles of man, at least not anymore. Everything that has happened in the world was because of the human race, the scab of the universe desiring to be picked, only it's through this belief that Basaka justifies his monstrous behavior. Description:Not so much a technique, as it is an ability of the hoshigaki. Their organic tissue is replaced, morphed, and changed into that of a shark's, also forming a layer of thin cartilage beneath the flesh to provide a sort of armor.
Effects: All piercing and slashing weapons is reduced by two ranks, and blunt force trauma is reduced by one rank when attacking a Hoshigaki.

Effects: Hoshigaki can now swim underwater without penalties, and allowing them to match how fast they might be on land-all land dexterity points now reflect how dexterous they are in the water.

Description: Sharks can track almost anything in the ocean due to specially developed cells along their snouts, which pick up on hormones, and electrical discharges coming from the blood. Hence why sharks are often called "the dogs of the sea", which isn't surprising. This makes Hoshigaki excellent hunters.
Effects: When the target has began to bleed, the Hoshigaki can pick up on the scent, which can be tracked up to a mile under water, and 100 meters on land.
