Housenka (Mythical Fire Phoenix) Rank: C Style: Ninjutsu Requirements: None Hand Seals: 5 Chakra Cost: Low; Low (Optional) Description: The user will gather fire chakra in their lungs, and exhale five small fireballs. These fireballs are not capable of doing a large amount of damage on their own, however a skilled shinobi could disguise throwing weapons with the flames to make the attacks more of a threat than they are perceived to be. Due to their somewhat weak nature, they cannot travel particularly far. Notably, the user can control the path of the flames using further chakra, causing the attack to become quite erratic and unpredictable. This technique is similar to HÅsenka Tsumabeni (Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson)
Effects: The fireballs, with projectile weapons in them or not, can be directed. Each individual attack can have it's current path changed by 25 degrees, though it cost a low to do so for a single fireball.
Ryuuka (Dragon Fire) Rank: C Style: Ninjutsu Requirements: None Hand Seals: 6 Chakra Cost: x2 Mid Description: For it's rank, Ryuuka is considered one of the more powerful fire jutsu. In terms of damage it easily outshines other techniques of a similar level, able to cover an entire man in blazing hot flames capable of melting flesh. This technique is a direct transferal of Katon chakra. The user will surround themselves in a large amount of fire, and then the blaze will travel to meet the opponent through wires, or some alternative method.
Effects: The user and the opponent must remain connected by wire, or some alternative method, for the duration of the technique.
Goukakyuu (Great Fireball) Rank: C Style: Ninjutsu Requirements: None Hand Seals: 5 Chakra Cost: Mid Description: A staple of fire jutsu that no practitioner would go without knowing, many consider this technique to be the progenitor of greater ones. It's just a really big fire ball. It can be used in two ways, primarily. One is much quicker, a mid-range attack that's more like a flamethrower, and the slow version, which is a large destructive fireball that can travel long ranges.
Effects: The variations of the technique only differ in the time it takes to execute. The mid-range version, able to spout fire anywhere within 5 meters of the user, is near instant, while the large fireball takes an extra moment of focus to better mold the chakra. The fireball can travel up to a huge 50 meters before dissipating completely.
Bakuhatso no Shotto (Exploding Shot) Rank: C Style: Ninjutsu Requirements: None Hand Seals: 3 Chakra Cost: Mid Description: The user will make a spark in their hands with Katon chakra, and quickly turn it into an orange sphere of flame which can then be tossed. This attack explodes on contact with a fair amount of force, and is useful in a pinch as a demolition weapon or to throw an opponent off their feat. It can only travel as far as the user can throw it, however, and is about the size of a baseball.
Effects: This jutsu explodes with roughly half the force of an exploding tag on contact.
Enshou O Okoshite Buki (Inflamed Weaponry)E Rank: C Style: Ninjutsu Requirements: A weapon. Hand Seals: 5 Chakra Cost: Mid, low to sustain.
Description: The user will heat a metal weapon of theirs with Katon chakra, causing it to glow a cherry red color, and cast off light. The weapon now inflicts burning damage and searing pain when it strikes, and can even cast sparks if it strikes other metal. A staple among bukijutsu users with a katon nature.
Effects: Every 5 post while this technique is in effect, the durability of the weapon drops a rank for the remainder of the thread. If the durability reaches E the weapon will melt completely, all at once.
Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu (Mist Waltz Technique) Rank: C Style: Ninjutsu Requirements: None Hand Seals: 7 Chakra Cost: x2 Mid Description: The user will spray a combustible mist over a large area, which will ignite as soon as it comes in contact with an open flame. The more of a closed off area this technique is used in, the more violent the reaction. If used in a completely open field. A powerful technique for setting up traps, possibly on other Katon users.
Effects: This technique will spread the mist in a 30 meter diameter in front of the user. If it is used in open air, it will simply ignite the air for a single post. If used indoors, it can possibly cause a powerful explosion.
Endan (Fireball) Rank: C Style: Ninjutsu Requirements: None Hand Seals: 5 Chakra Cost: Low Description: The user will expel a torrent of flame from their mouths, covering a decent area in front of them. This flame can be sustained for two posts and fans out enough at it's end point to burn multiple targets at once, though it doesn't have a very long range.
Effects: This jutsu fans out completely at 5 meters, spreading to cover a 5 meter area in front of that.
Haisekishou (Burning Ash Accumulation) Rank: B Style: Ninjutsu Requirements: None Hand Seals: 7 Chakra Cost: x2 Mid Description: The user will expel a large cloud of searing ash from their mouth, which can blind opponents quite easily. However, this is only the initial function of the technique. The true function is shown when the user clicks their teeth together to create a spark, igniting the ash into a massive explosion of flame.
Effects: The ash can be blown away by Fuuton jutsu.
