Description: The Kami are not a single family but a race said to descend from gods themselves and rightly so as their power is often unrivaled. Their homeland is a mystery as it is not anywhere within the charted areas of the planet and many Kami arrive in the land in their infancy mysteriously, not knowing their origins. This isn't to say more mature Kami don't choose to come over of their own accord, as it can happen. It's just much less frequent.

Perks:


• The Kami are known for their strength but power does not come without its price. Due to the taxing nature of most Kami techniques, many Kami have unnaturally large chakra pools. This perk grants an additional massive to the Kami's total chakra reserves. Requires B-rank Kami
• Converting chakra to ki is a complex task that the Kami have learned to do with ease by the time they reach maturity. In order to master this skill, one must have incredible chakra control and raw willpower. Many Kami have continued to hone their skills in these regards, removing their need to perform hand seals entirely. Requires A-rank Kami and 300 EXP
• With years of hands-on practice, Kami can learn to endure the taxing nature of their Celestial Force forms, removing the chakra upkeep from these techniques. Requires S-rank Kami and 300 EXP


Capabilities: The Kami are considered gods among men as they represent the pinnacle of human physiology to a degree that only around 3% of the human population can ever hope to achieve, or so it is said. Their coveted Divine Ascension technique rivals the eight gates at its pinnacle by granting the Kami incredible strength, speed, and endurance. They can also convert chakra into a rare form known as ki which grants them access to a number of unique techniques, such as raw energy attacks, sensory abilities, and other buffing abilities.


Divine Ascension
Requirements: Kami
Description: The Kami channel chakra and Ki through their chakra points at an alarming rate, exponentially increasing their physical capabilities. Their appearance changes based on the individual, such as eye, hair, and/or chakra color changes, but every Kami share a few features; raw ki and chakra surge around them like fire, neural electricity crackles in the air around their bodies, a steady gust of wind seems to blow around them, and tiny debris in the area is shredded, such as pebbles and leaves. Each rank in the clan grants the Kami a +2 bonus to strength, speed, and endurance which stack with subsequent ranks as well as other boosts (not breaking the "two stats above 20" rule) for the duration of the technique. Each rank has the corresponding chakra cost to activate with a single rank lower's worth of chakra per turn afterward as an upkeep cost.

Celestial Force
Requirements: Kami
Description: This technique grants a temporary stat boost proportionate to your rank (D-C: +2. B-A: +4. S: +6) to your strength and speed for one turn by sending a violent pulse through the chakra and ki coursing through the Kami's tenketsu. This technique can be used once per thread at D-C rank, twice and B-A, and three times and S-rank.

Flight
Requirements: Kami
Description: All Kami can fly with a +3 bonus to dexterity.

Instant Transmission
Requirements: S-rank Kami
Description: By focusing on a location they're either familiar with, have seen recently (and can remember clearly), or can currently see, a Kami can teleport, achieving a perfect dexterity rating of 50 for one turn.

Ki Manipulation
Requirements: Kami and the proportionate rank
Description: With the appropriate level of power, a Kami can perform a number of devastating energy techniques by manipulating chakra into ki (note: not all techniques listed are ki techniques). Obvious insane techniques such as absorbing someone cannot be used.


Power Scale:


• D-rank: The Kami can create small blasts and beams of ki but not much else. Their physical abilities increase through the usage of Divine Ascension but only prior taijutsu training can make this low stage useful.
• C-rank: Reaching the "blossoming" stage of life, the Kami begins to develop stronger control over Ki and chakra. They can create larger blasts that are capable of punching through concrete and other moderate defenses and are beginning to hone the power of the Divine Ascension.
• B-rank: The Kami is beginning to reach maturity at this stage. Divine Ascension becomes increasingly useful and their control over ki has grown as they can now perform stronger techniques such as the destructo disc or concussive waves of ki.
• A-rank: This stage becomes the peak for many Kami. They can now form destructive and sniper-like pinpoint lasers capable of penetrating solid defenses, solar flares to blind opponents, or even the famous Kameamea and Galick Gun techniques.
• S-rank: Divine Ascension becomes the stuff of legends as the Kami moves across the battlefield like a blur. Devastating techniques such as the Spirit Bomb become available to the warriors.
