Description: One of the great founding clans of Konohagakure, the Hyuuga clan has existed for quite some time. They are a tight-knit clan, sticking together until the formation of the Leaf Village. Due to the village's declining status, their numbers have been spread thin as many chose to flee for new homes yet few could agree on a destination. Today their numbers are few but they're still a force to be reckoned with.

Their two most known abilities are their doujutsu - the Byakugan, and their unique nintai style known as Gentle Fist. By combining the two, they can effectively combat against taijutsu as well as ninjutsu by shutting off their opponent's flow of chakra.

Perks:

• The Hyuuga's style of combat, whether using Gentle Fist or nor, relies heavily upon their speed and agility. As such, the Hyuuga is granted a permanent +2 to Dexterity. Requires A-rank in the Hyuuga clan and 300 EXP.
• By coupling their innate ability with extensive training, The Hyuuga Clan member has better adjusted themselves to sustain the demands of precision chakra control, allowing them to channel energy more efficiently through their tenketsu. Because of this they now possess the ability to perform any chakra-related feat for one less tier. This does not stack with other cost reducing masteries. Requires S-rank in the Hyuuga clan and 500 EXP.

Capabilities: The primary gift granted to members of the Hyuuga clan is the coveted doujutsu known as the Byakugan. With it, they are provided with an exceptional level of clarity (+5 to wisdom while active), a near 360 degree field of vision with a small blind spot extending from the base of the back of the neck, an extended range of sight (dependent on rank), X-ray vision capable of seeing through walls or seeing the chakra pathways in an individual, the ability to see chakra, the flow of chakra and its nature, the ability to discern clones from the original, an increased ability to perceive illusions and Genjutsu (dependent on rank), and the ability to see otherwise visible barriers.

Hyuuga also carry the ability to finely control their own tenketsu and the flow of chakra through them, allowing them both to burst raw chakra from their bodies as well as imbue their melee strikes with chakra. Combining the latter feat with the Byakugan's ability to see an opponent's tenketsu gave birth to the Gentle Fist style, allowing them to effectively shut off an opponent's usage of chakra.

Power Scale:

• D-rank: The Byakugan's extended range is 1 kilometer and they are granted an baseline 10 wisdom when attempting to perceive of penetrate genjutsu or other illusions. Their Gentle Fist style can cut off the usage of any techniques above A-rank in an opponent.
• C-rank: The Byakugan's extended range is 2 kilometers and they are granted an baseline 20 wisdom when attempting to perceive of penetrate genjutsu or other illusions. Their Gentle Fist style can cut off the usage of any techniques above B-rank in an opponent. Most Hyuuga learn the ability to expel chakra and rapidly spin at this point, creating a dome of chakra that can block projectiles and attacks up to equal rank with the user's rank in the Hyuuga clan.
• B-rank: The Byakugan's extended range is 3 kilometers and they are granted an baseline 30 wisdom when attempting to perceive of penetrate genjutsu or other illusions. Their Gentle Fist style can cut off the usage of any techniques above C-rank in an opponent. Additionally the Hyuuga can now add raw chakra bursts to their melee attacks for a lows worth to cause additional damage, inflicting further pain and often causing cramping, numbness, or paralysis.
• A-rank: The Byakugan's extended range is 4 kilometers and they are granted an baseline 40 wisdom when attempting to perceive of penetrate genjutsu or other illusions. Their Gentle Fist style can cut off the usage of any techniques above D-rank in an opponent. Their ability to paralyze and cramp opponents is increased. They can also cause massive blasts of chakra capable of dealing pressure damage from mid-range.
• S-rank: The Byakugan's extended range is 5 kilometers and they are granted an baseline 50 wisdom when attempting to perceive of penetrate genjutsu or other illusions. Their Gentle Fist style can cut off the usage of any chakra-based feat in their targets if a full combo can be landed. Chakra-infused melee attacks (gentle fist) can now cause internal injuries, bypassing defenses and endurance. They can even create violent bursts of chakra from their bodies, throwing opponents away and acting as a sound counterattack.
